The cabins sit on top of Porcupine Hill at 1,350 metres, above the snow line, with snow falling five or six times a year. They are earth-sheltered for climate control and clad in timber so they settle into the hillside, and the view runs the full circle across the Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd and the Jenolan reserve. Log fires in winter.
