Karl spent years teaching skiing in Utah, Colorado, the Czech Republic and Austria before bringing the après-ski blueprint home to Jindabyne. The brewery he founded in 2015 pours six taps from a shed full of visible equipment — the Island Bend Pilzner, Mosaic IPA, seasonal Bock and an ESB among them. Wings, lamb skewers with salsa verde, bread boards. Dogs welcome.
