Brothers Bert and Fred Kay planted their first vines at Amery in 1891. The 1928 Celestin Coq hydraulic basket press still runs each vintage. Their Block 6 Shiraz comes from vines planted in 1892. Few wineries in Australia carry this much working history — and fewer still pour it across a cellar door tasting.
