Barry and Bernadette Wurlod spent decades dairy farming this volcanic southwest Victorian property before planting vines. The cellar door sits on the slopes of Keayang Maar — a maar being a volcanic crater — and the geology is part of the pitch, as much as the cool-climate wines it produces.
