A mother-and-daughter venture, the initials give it away, trading from a corner of Maryborough's heritage Powerhouse building near the Mary River. It began in 2020 as a specialty deli and grazing-platter business grown out of catering, stocking cheeses, cured meats, pasta sauces, gourmet ice cream and pantry goods, and has since folded in a coffee and sandwich bar of toasties, bagels, acai and a well-regarded brew. The industrial-heritage room, rustic and unfussy, suits the format. Reviewers single out the coffee and the freshness of the food, and it has become a reliable stop in a town where good independent providores are thin on the ground. Part deli, part cafe, run by two people who clearly know their produce.
