Sean Blocksidge has been running this tour out of a single Land Rover for eighteen years, on the premise that most Margaret River wine tours move too fast through too many cellar doors. His Discovery Tour visits one winery — Fraser Gallop Estate, for a behind-the-scenes lunch — and spends the rest of the day on the parts of the region most visitors miss: a flat-water canoe section of the Margaret River through karri country, a stop at a waterhole for a local honey tasting, and a 4WD link-up to the Wilyabrup Cliffs section of the Cape to Cape Track. The shorter Best of the Best wine tour pairs twenty-plus wines with a food-matching lunch at Cape Mentelle; the Sunset Canoe is ninety minutes on the river at the end of the day.
