Siblings Sally and Michael Ninham restored a Abbotsford warehouse and filled it with wheels, benches, and a permanently boiling kettle. Sally teaches and writes; Michael fixes things and makes tea. The result is a pottery studio that functions more like a neighbourhood kitchen — regulars working alongside beginners, the smell of wet clay, and someone's dog underfoot.
