Campbell's Store opened as a general store in 1846, closed when the rail line died, and sat derelict until Trevor Shirley Richards restored it in 1986. Thirty-two displaced Newcastle dealers moved in when the Centenary Centre shuttered in 2016. Today: jewellery, nautical salvage, vintage fashion, and fine art up front; a ginger beer factory and blue barn galleries out back. The Servant's Quarters tearoom does savoury mince on toast and fresh scones, Thursday to Sunday.
