What began as an 1851 commercial orchard is now 157 hectares of certified organic and biodynamic vines on the northern slopes above Gumeracha. The Horner family — Sydney transplants turned Adelaide Hills lifers — rebuilt after the 2015 Sampson Flat Bushfire and now produce small-batch Pinot Noir, Blaufrankisch, Zweigelt, Mencia and Grüner Veltliner alongside a cellar door restaurant.
