Harry Friend planted the first vines in 1980 on what had been his parents' dairy farm; today his son Axel shares winemaking duties with him. The cellar door sits beneath the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, pouring a range that runs from late-harvest viognier to sparkling reds. Nine wines scored 90-plus points in the 2023 Halliday Wine Companion. The cockatoo on the label is Axel's — he drew it as a schoolboy.
