The Doonan studio where ceramic and visual artist Fiona Cuthbert O'Meara lives, practises and teaches. Classes run for absolute beginners through to those with existing experience, across wheel throwing, hand building, glazing and sculpture. Students work with eight pottery wheels, a slab roller and extruder, and can join atmospheric firings held on site — gas reduction, pit, raku and wood. Glazes are made from scratch using ground rock and minerals.
