Among the first wineries established in the Adelaide Hills, Nepenthe works cool-climate fruit into chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, shiraz and tempranillo, released across collections including Altitude, Elevation and Apex, with some bottlings held back for the cellar door alone. The recently renovated tasting room sits at 93 Jones Road, open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm, with bookings suggested. Winemaker James Evers oversees production; the site also hosts weddings, private functions and seasonal events.
