Former cheesemaker Saul Sullivan now runs this Verdun microbrewery alongside head brewer Kai Cook, using a Braumeister system designed to maximise hop aroma. Small, frequent batches keep things fresh. The backyard overlooks the Onkaparinga River; the greenhouse hosts cheesemaking classes. Udder Delights cheese and Hesketh Wines round out a lineup that earns the long afternoon it invites.
