The Cooroora Historical Society founded this museum in 1985 in Pomona's former shire council chambers, and it has since gathered more than 5,000 objects, most handed in by local families. Displays run from the Gubbi Gubbi past through the timber camp at Mill Point to farm tools, wartime relics and an oral-history series recorded with hinterland locals. It took the ABC's regional museums award in 2010. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays; entry is free.
