Trained under German-born silversmith Johannes Kuhnen and later mentored by Blanche Tilden, Phoebe Porter brings twenty-five years of gold and silversmithing to her studio at Gorman Arts Centre in Braddon. Her geometric pieces — influenced by Bauhaus and Russian Constructivism, combining industrial materials with precious metals — are held in the National Gallery of Australia and the Powerhouse Museum.
