Dominic Morris spent sixteen years as chief winemaker at Portugal's Quinta do Crasto before returning to apply that rigour to his own Bendigo vines. Yields are held to 1–1.5 tonnes per acre on organically farmed blocks planted to Shiraz, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The Old Clones Shiraz draws from century-old vine cuttings. Cellar door is at Bambra, in the Surf Coast hinterland.
