Artist-run and not-for-profit since 1995, Project Contemporary Artspace on Keira Street gives emerging and experimental Illawarra artists a proper platform — member shows, open calls, photography festivals, fibre art, textile work. The programming tilts consistently toward risk: collaborative, cross-disciplinary, and open to work that hasn't found its feet yet. That's the point.
