A second-generation Italian family confectioner in the back streets of Stepney, founded in 1976 after Emidio Quinzi learned the craft from masters in Italy and now run by his son Joe and wife Antonetta. The signature is sugared almonds, in single colours or mixed, which has made Quinzi's one of Australia's major makers of them. Alongside sit couverture chocolate-coated lines: popping candy, Turkish delight, raspberry centres. The Stepney factory outlet is open weekdays, with samples on the counter.
