Hugh Reilly's 1856 stone cottage — once a cobbler's shop on Mintaro's main street — is now the cellar door and restaurant for the wines Justin and Julie Ardill have been making since 1994. The first vintage was basket-pressed by hand on the verandah. Today the focus stays Clare Valley fruit: Riesling, Shiraz, Old Bushvine Grenache, minimal intervention.
