Jonathan and Sophie Biet founded So Watt in 2015 with a straightforward premise: design and make furniture in the same Marrickville workshop, so the people building the pieces are never far from the people drawing them. The studio explores materials on their own terms — interrogating structural and aesthetic potential before settling on form — and keeps its doors open to clients who want to understand what they're buying and why.
