A candlelit mezzanine wine bar above the Winston brewery on Elizabeth Street in North Hobart, opened by former Peppina sommelier Jeff Thaow. The list runs European and Tasmanian, with a bias toward small-batch, independent growers, poured in a dark, low-lit room. The kitchen turns out Euro bistro plates threaded with Southeast Asian flavours — think turnip cake with pickled mushroom, beef tartare, vegetable crudités and pandan cake.
