Wendy Heaney and Bruce Preston bought this small South Gippsland winery in 2020, folding it into their existing Heaston Estate — itself salvaged from diseased vines they refused to bulldoze. The cellar door looks out over wide rural views; a purpose-built winemaking shed, opened early 2025, brought pressing and fermentation on-site for the first time. The red Angus cow on the label is real — her name was Ginge.
