James and Kylie built this couples retreat at the foothills of the Victorian High Country with solar power, water harvesting and a Land for Wildlife membership underpinning the operation. Kangaroos and wombats move through at dusk; the treehouses are positioned for privacy and bush connection. Bright's main street is a short walk away, though few guests seem to rush there.
