Ridgway in Mirboo North holds this nursery and garden centre, stocking bedding plants, natives and edibles alongside the practical end of the trade — bagged mulch, sand, rocks, firewood and bottled gas. It traded for years as The Town Centre Nursery and still appears under that name on local directories, more recently running its own site as Mirboo North Garden Centre, and remains one of the few general nurseries serving this stretch of South Gippsland. Staff advise on what actually holds up through the district's cool, wet winters rather than pushing whatever's in flower that week. It sits among the practical shopfronts of a small dairy town rather than standing as an attraction in its own right — the kind of business a rural main street depends on. Open seven days: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, Sunday 10am-2pm.
