Tony and Debbie McKendry planted this Mudgee vineyard in 1994; daughter Samantha runs it now. The focus is unusual for the region: certified organic Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano alongside Chardonnay and Cabernet. Tastings at the cellar door look out across the vines to the surrounding hills — a good reason to linger over the pour.
