Built in 1894 by a disgraced state cricketer, Wirra Wirra's ironstone cellars were revived in the late 1960s by Greg Trott, who added a trebuchet to the grounds and made the winery's irreverence as much a calling card as its wines. Church Block — a Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot blend first made in 1972 — remains the anchor. Harry's Deli handles lunch.
