A family that has cruised these waters for more than 125 years runs day trips down the Gordon River into the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park aboard Harbour Master II, a catamaran built in Tasmania and launched in October 2020. The boat has four outdoor viewing platforms, two of them undercover, for watching the rainforest slide past from the water. Departing the Esplanade at Strahan on Tasmania's wild west coast, with a seasonal winter pause for vessel upgrades.
