Behind a graffiti-rolled door in Newtown's backstreets, Oscar McMahon and Richard Adamson started brewing in 2012. Their Newtowner pale ale was literally a birthday gift to the 2042 postcode. Since then: a Noble Cut Gin, algae bioreactors co-developed with UTS, a pandemic pivot to hand sanitiser, and B Corp certification. Still independent, still on the same block.
