Craig's Royal Hotel is a grand Victorian-era pub built in 1862 on historic Lydiard Street in central Ballarat. It occupies the site of Bath's Hotel, Ballarat's first licensed pub. The property hosted Prince Alfred in 1867 and Dame Nellie Melba in 1908. After five years of restoration, it now operates as a boutique heritage hotel with multiple drinking and dining spaces: The Corner Bar, The Atrium (serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all-day coffee and cake), and a public bar. High tea is offered on the first Sunday of each month. Accommodation and function facilities are available.
