Seven elevated cabins in a Fan Palm gully on Cape Tribulation Road, 15km north of the Daintree ferry. Anna and Mal Graham built it by hand in the early 1990s on the principle of minimal disruption — at the time, no project of that scale had been attempted inside the World Heritage area. Now owned and run by Giorgio and Vivienne, with a small on-site restaurant, Cycad, focused on tropical produce. No mobile reception, limited wifi, walkways between the cabins. Eastern Kuku Yalanji country.
