They call it Unauthentic Indian Food — a joke with an argument inside it. A dhaba is roadside cooking for whoever pulls in: pots over an open fire, tables around them, no claim to heritage attached. Kyneton's version sits in an old mill on Piper Street, licensed for beer and wine, open Thursday to Sunday evenings. Refusing to say "authentic" is the most interesting decision on the site.
