Craig and Janet Wickham have run these small-group and private wildlife journeys as a family business since 1986, with Craig guiding on the island since the mid-1980s and their children Blair and Skye now part of the enterprise. The days pair well-interpreted wildlife encounters with a promise of good food, good wine and wildlife in the wild, and common sightings include Kangaroo Island kangaroos, tammar wallabies, short-beaked echidnas, Australian sea-lions and long-nosed fur seals. A founder member of Australian Wildlife Journeys, it has held Advanced Ecotourism accreditation for over two decades, with tours departing daily from Kingscote and American River.
