John Griffiths planted this 11-acre Swan Valley block in stages from 1998, selecting shallow sandy gravel over ironstone laterite for its water retention. The focus sits on three varieties the valley has spent a century refining: Verdelho, Shiraz, and Brown Muscat. His Petit Verdot was among the first in the Swan. Cellar door tastings run alongside lunch platters.
