A 1918 engine shed with the largest operating turntable in New South Wales, still used by volunteers to repair locomotives and rolling stock. It survives because in 1986 the man sent to organise its demolition asked the Goulburn Workers Club whether anyone knew a demolition contractor, and found a railwayman instead. Heritage listing approved that Friday. Guided tours Thursday to Saturday, last one at 2.30.
