A produce-driven restaurant in Hurstbridge, in the Shire of Nillumbik on Melbourne's outer north-eastern edge, run by chef Zoe Birch and her partner Lachlan Gardner since 2017. The room seats eight, in a former fruit-and-veg shop, and serves about 32 people a week. Birch cooks a daily-changing degustation over wood fire, built almost entirely on hyper-local Nillumbik produce, with in-house ferments and preserves, bread and butter made by hand, and only green-listed seafood. Gardner runs the floor and a wine list that skews local to the Yarra Valley.
