Haig Park Village Markets is the Sunday market Alexandra Webb opened under the pines of Haig Park in Braddon in February 2021, founded as part of a broader Canberra City Renewal Authority effort to bring life back to the park. Local Village Markets, the small Canberra-based organisation Webb runs, curates the stallholder line-up week to week — regional producers, growers, artisans, designers, food traders — with rotating live music, family activations, and a free stall offer for performers, workshop leaders and kids' programmers. Sustainability is built in through plastic-free trading and reusable programs. The markets run year-round every Sunday from 8am to 2pm. The same organisation also runs the monthly Little Burley Market at Queen Elizabeth Terrace on Lake Burley Griffin.
