Ian and Wendy Hollick planted their first vines on former Coonawarra grazing land in 1975. Their 1985 Jimmy Watson Trophy win announced them nationally. The original cellar door occupies a heritage cottage reputedly built in the 1860s — birthplace of poet John Shaw Neilson. Three estate vineyards across Coonawarra and Wrattonbully supply cabernet sauvignon, tempranillo, sangiovese and riesling, among others.
