Ricky keeps the cellar door on Rutherglen's Main Street deliberately unpretentious — seated tastings, cheese platters, wines by the glass in a garden with misting fans. The wines step outside the regional template: Nero d'Avola, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, and a Beechworth Chardonnay sourced from High Country cool-climate fruit. Friday and Saturday evenings run until around 7:30pm.
