Jetty Fremantle

A Mediterranean bar and restaurant in a galvanised river shack on the Swan River between the bridges in Fremantle, opened by Miles Hull, who modelled it on the beachside eateries of the Greek islands. The open kitchen sends a seasonal, seafood-heavy share-plate menu that nods to the European migrants who settled Fremantle in the 1950s and 60s: Shark Bay scallops, squid in nduja butter, Greek-style gyros off a vertical rotisserie. The wine list leans European with a Greek focus, alongside cocktails, and there's a bamboo-roofed terrace over the water.
