Samir Soleman learned to make jewellery by hand in his father's Cairo workshop at age eleven. Fifty years on, he's still doing it the same way — by hand, no shortcuts — from a shop he's held at Tyabb's Craft Village since 1995. Custom pieces, remodelling, antique repairs, and stock made by his siblings, who are still working jewellers in Cairo.
