Jugemu & Shimbashi is a dual-concept teppanyaki and soba restaurant in Neutral Bay. Jugemi specialises in Osaka-style okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes with cabbage, protein and Worcestershire-based sauce) cooked on hot plate. Shimbashi focuses on hand-made buckwheat soba noodles made fresh twice daily using Tasmanian buckwheat, ground on-site. The venue offers two separate entrances and distinct atmospheres—modern vibrant for Jugemu, calm traditional for Shimbashi—with seating at normal tables and sunken tatami-style tables. Full licensed bar with wine, sake, shochu and beer; BYO wine welcome (except Friday–Saturday). Menu also includes tempura, gyoza, teppanyaki sides and Japanese classics.
