South of St Arnaud and west of the Sunraysia Highway, this park holds one of the largest intact areas of box-ironbark forest and woodland left in Victoria, with more than 270 recorded native plants. Heathy dry forest and herb-rich woodland shelter barking and powerful owls, squirrel gliders and brush-tailed phascogales, and spring brings a run of wildflowers. A basic campground sits at Teddington, and parts of the park are set aside for gold prospecting. It is jointly managed with the Dja Dja Wurrung.
