Thirty years of collecting has filled 53 exhibits and 6,000-odd items into this Byrnes Street museum — tobacco tins, cane knives, the slow accumulation of a frontier agricultural town. Staff and volunteers double as the visitor information centre next door, which keeps things practical. The coffee house and free parking don't hurt either.
