Master jeweller Chris Hood runs what he calls a "River to Ring" operation — overseeing natural gemstones from source to setting. The Hobart studio specialises in natural, untreated coloured stones, with more than 300 blue sapphire hues on hand alongside Argyle pink diamonds, Tasmanian sapphires, and mokume-gane metalwork. Every piece carries the Metal Urges mark.
