The saw-tooth roofline was built to flood the top-floor wool treatment rooms with natural light. That roofline — National Trust-listed, unchanged — still defines the building. Original equipment from the woolstore turns up in corridors. The 1997 "Best Redeveloped Industrial Building" award hasn't dated the place; the industrial bones still do the work.
