Miguel Meirelles trained as a furniture conservator in Florence between 1978 and 1980, and the shop shares premises with his workshop. You can walk through it and watch the restoration happen. Stock comes back from France mostly in as-found condition, Louis XIV to Art Deco, with a courtyard of doors, fountains and stone fireplaces. Weekdays by appointment, Saturday mornings without.
