Haidee trained in millinery at Hobart TAFE, studied fine arts at the University of Tasmania, then honed the craft at the British School of Millinery in London. Since 1990 she has worked from a studio-shop in the Salamanca Arts Centre on Hobart's waterfront, hand-making headwear alongside a quirky children's clothing line, and visitors are welcome to watch new pieces take shape. She even wrote a children's book, Hobartdocious, along the way.
