Nathan Day spent time at England's Edward Barnsley Workshop before building a furniture practice in Margaret River country. His Vasse workshop produces dining tables, desks, and cabinets from jarrah and walnut — sometimes scorched, sometimes ebonised — using torsion box construction and vacuum forming alongside traditional joinery. Three lecterns for the Australian Embassy in Washington DC sit at one end of the commission spectrum; a dining table for your house at the other.
