Justin Lang spent years mining opal in Coober Pedy — appearing on two seasons of *Australian Outback Opal Hunters* — before opening this Hahndorf store with his partner Bec. The stock comes directly from their own mining operation, which gives the jewellery and loose stones a traceable origin most opal retailers can't claim. An attached museum adds context to the stones on sale.
