Built in 1847 from locally quarried sandstone as the first structure raised in the coastal village of Robe, this Limestone Coast building holds five self-contained apartments a short walk from Guichen Bay. High vaulted ceilings, rustic floorboards, antique furnishings and local artwork carry the history; two apartments have log fires, and a cottage garden with verandah and gazebo sits outside. Breakfast provisions are supplied. It suits couples and families wanting heritage character within walking distance of the sea.
